Why did we feel the need to change our logo?
A balanced and recognizable logo conveys a business’ vision. It’s the face of our company and something that our potential customers notice about us immediately. As the famous quote goes “A picture is worth a thousand words.”
Hence, we wanted our logo to reflect professionalism, trustworthiness, and our expertise as a yacht carpentry company.
Logos and symbols are powerful. National flags, wedding rings, a peace sign – each convey a specific message.
What did we want our message to be?
We wanted to show our growth. We’re taking on larger marine clients and wanted the logo to be indicative of this. The boat on the logo is longer than the first design. Also, we didn’t want anything complicated – just something simple, yet elegant.
Our workshop is stationed in Oakland Park and we’ve been taking up a lot more business in West Palm Beach.
Over the next few months, you’ll see all the other visuals around Dennis Boatworks aligning around this new direction: on the website, in advertising, and our service trucks and delivery vans It’s still us. We’re still Dennis Boatworks. But more consistent and, we hope, more instantly recognizable.
